美国在开战5天后的估计数是俄军死亡1500，那么按比例推算7天应该是2100。而乌军公报是战损，也就是伤亡加被俘，与美国估算数基本一致。
此外，乌克兰两次宣布俄军将军阵亡的消息，后来都被俄方证实。看来乌方知道他们袭击的目标。
